Orchids at Palm Court

Have been here twice now for the tasting menu. The first time(about two years ago) it was great! It was ten courses and it seemed most of it came special from the chef (Only a one or two courses were from the regular menu). This time was good as well but did not blow our socks off like the first time. It was eight courses, but everything was from the menu so it didn’t seem as special. Also, I believe the menu said $120 for the tasting menu/ person but when the bill came, it was $130. It does not seem like much when we paid about a total of $500 for the two of us but it is worth noting. Also we were there for almost 5 hours from the time we were seated. I would like to have seen a faster pace.The wait staff is always fabulous and attentive.

I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The dishes they serve are fantastic and the stuff is attentive and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we pass a gorgeous evening. warmly recommended.

I visit this great restaurant quite a bit! This is my favorite place to grab a bite. I go there at least once a month. The cooking is great, the team is welcoming and the prices are reasonable. I like meeting in this restaurant over a good supper.

Wonderful night at the Orchids at Palm Court. Excellent service (shout out to our waiter Solomon!) in a beautiful, one of a kind art deco building. We had such a fun time with the ambience and live jazz, delicious food and interesting "bites" sent out by the chef to try.

Love love love Happy Hour here. They've got one of the best burgers in town along with some classic cocktails on special. They've got live music most nights. I really enjoy sitting at the bar and taking it all in!

If you are looking for an exquisite meal in downtown, this is the place. Service is top-notch, and the wait staff will work to make sure you enjoy your experience with questions like “any allergies we should know about? Our waiter was also very down to earth, and helped us in our first fully coursed meal. The food is beautiful, as well as delicious. My scallops and pork belly were fantastically salty and creamy, and the Blue Cheese beignet were delightful. The room itself is the beautiful Art Deco dining room inside of the Netherland Hotel at Carew Tower. Great experience.

Amazing food, great service, and lovely ambiance in a beautiful Art Deco building. Definitely on the pricier side, but a nice option for a special night out!

I meet with friends this place from time to time! This is the best place to dine. I visit this place frequently. The cooking is very tasty, the workers are helpful and the cost is good. I enjoy eating in this restaurant to have a good lunch.

We finally tried this restaurant after being on our list of places to eat in Cincinnati & it they did not disappoint. Food was excellent & done to perfection. We were very satisfied with their service & they were mindful of our plans after the meal. I highly recommend for a nice European-esque dining experience.

Dale and I 9 years of unity 0ne year of marriage was given the best recommendation for our celebration. Absolutely the best service we have experienced from the beginning of the reservation to the end of our 4 course meal. We will return!

My kinda place, fresh made pizzas and cold crafts on tap! Eat in or take a growler and food to go! A relaxing atmosphere with excellent food and friendly service, worth trying in my opinion particularly if you're a 'pie' guy like me. They have lots of craft beer selections (lighter, darker, heavy to hoppy brews) and several wine options, but not full bar - no spirit drinks

I like this place! They prepare marvelous food, their menu is rich, The cook in that spot is a real authority in the kitchen, I love very much trying all their dishes. The dishes are consistently of high class, the attitude towards the clients is very good too. I often eat in this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. Highly recommended.

This was my first time here for Sunday brunch & it is fabulous! The interior decor is all art deco- the gold wall trim, art and tables set with white linen & silver. From the moment we were greeted, service was top notch- attentive and quick. Brunch included: omelet bar, Belgian waffles, fruit & cheeses, shrimp, crab, turkey, the most tender prime rib and more.Take your credit card and get plate fulls of shrimp, waffles and prime rib (did I mention it was tender?). Delicious & so worth it!

Pretty solid fine dining experience for Cincinnati. Food was tasty, though the plates came out quite slowly. Beautiful space and attentive service.

A once in a lifetime experience that was worthy of 5 stars. Every course that we had was paired with a wine that Morgan helped choose for us. If you want a unique and special eating experience than look no further than the Orchids at Palm Court.From the historic 1930's when this hotel was built to the renovations with themed venues. Our waiter, Chauncey was a delight and took us for a tour.

Overall great experience. The hotel is amazing, so definitely a very nice/elegant place to celebrate a special occasion. The staff are wonderful, trained impeccably and everyone works together to make the evening special. As you'll possibly note as a common theme with some other reviews, the food is very good, but not superb. I think part of this may be that much more noticeable because of the amazing atmosphere. My sense is that they may be holding back to keep things universally enjoyable. Which it was. It just wasn't amazing. We were still very happy and I'm glad we had our anniversary dinner there. But again, mainly for the ambience. This place has potential for a Michelin (and this review can't be a surprise) if they just stepped outside this "comfort zone" and tried a more bold menu.

We visited Orchids for our 38th wedding anniversary on a Tuesday evening. We almost had the place to ourselves. There was good attention to detail from the staff as they recognized our special occasion with a card and several treats during the meal. Food was what we have come to expect from Orchids, well prepared and thoughtfully presented gourmet food. We enjoyed our evening and plan to return.

I visit this special place many times because I love the good air that is unique to this place. The team is exceptionally loyal and experienced. The service is extremely fast. Also, the food they prepare is highly distinguished. I frequent often and I was always satisfied. The expense is honest. I recommend this restaurant to to everybody.

The atmosphere is exquisite, the liquor and wine selection is out of this world, and the staff is too notch, especially Morgan, Nathan, Carlton and Sabrina. They are attentive, caring, and very personable. The food is also magnificent. If you want to see Cincinnati's finest hidden gem then come here. And ask the bartenders about the history of the Netherland Plaza and Orchid's.

This an elegant, art deco restaurant in downtown Cincinnati. Beautiful interior. The service is superb with engaging, professional, but definitely not overbearing servers. There was a wonderful jazz band playing. The food was delicious, perfectly prepared and artfully served. There were tasty little surprises between the courses. This is perfect restaurant for a special occasion.

The service is incredible. Best food in Cincinnati. Executive Chef came over to our table to spend a few minutes with us. Outstanding experience!
